WFML Real Bride: Carmen

WFML Real Bride: Carmen

"The day itself was amazing and better than I what I imagined. You spend so much time picturing how everything is going to look together then you have the fun of seeing it all on the day, plus marrying the love of your life!" Carmen and Luke reflected oh so fondly on their big day, that they managed to plan in just under 3 months - what a champion effort! By using multiple checklists, weekly planners and iPhone reminders, it all came together smoothly.

At first, they didn't have a theme in mind, however the colour scheme was formed from the beautiful winter colours of Preston Peak Winery in Toowoomba. Once it all came together, it had a beautiful Victorian Style with the table decorating, featuring individually created glass centre pieces by Carmen's Mother-in-law. How special! The couple also chose to go very traditional as it suited the style but also held special value to the couple. Carmen therefore chose to wear a beautiful veil and their parents prayed over and blessed their marriage. Carmen always had a picture of what kind of dress she wanted in her head which made our job that little bit easier! "Vanessa and her team were so helpful and patient!" Luke and his boys wore a gorgeous shade of Navy - such a beautiful colour. Congratulations Carmen and Luke - we feel so honoured to have been able to play a little part in your wonderful wedding day.
