Stunning Jacinta and husband Doug were married on a beautiful January day in Brisbane! After planning the big day in a short eight months, the couple aimed for a relaxed and fun ceremony. To make sure everything fell perfectly in place, they simply picked a date and made sure everything else fell together around it. With the unpredictability of Brisbane weather in the first few months of the year, Jacinta and Doug had a beautiful wet-weather plan ready to go but after days of rain the sun came out at the perfect time! How lucky are they?! There was no specific theme to their wedding day but a focus on native flowers, simple elegant designs and their adorable dog Vinnie made the day pretty spectacular. Vinnie was there the day the couple got engaged so it was oh so fitting to have him there as they walked down the aisle. Their venue even made it possible to have Vinnie around for the ceremony AND cocktail hour to mingle with the guests.
Jacinta didn't have a particular dress in mind when starting her bridal shopping but went in with the approach that she would try on every style because you just don't know what is going to suit you! Her final design, our Valentina Gown, was "more beautiful than [she] could have imagined and Vanessa's guidance to combine to designs and make it the perfect fit was so special." It looked fresh, light and summery on beautiful Jacinta which fit so perfectly with their big day. Doug is known for his great sense of style and often wears nice, custom pieces. He happened to get a gorgeous light grey suit custom made just before they got engaged and the couple decided it was perfect for the summer wedding. We asked Jacinta about her experience with us at WFML and her response was so lovely: "The entire process shopping for the dress, fittings and alterations had been such a pleasure. I was never stressed or concerned because I knew everything was being handled. The shopping process was so fun as well because I could bring my bridesmaids and mum along to have a glass of bubbles and chat while I tried on dresses. A big part of the fun for my mum was getting to come dress shopping and I'm so glad I got to share that with her."
