WFML Real Bride: Jade & Tim - Wedding Gown Design

Posted by on

Beautiful bride Jade decided to plan her wedding in a single year, with the day going absolutely perfectly. Both Jade and Tim had both favoured a contemporary wedding rather than traditional as they wanted an outdoor ceremony so that they could have their dog walk down the aisle as well. The outcome could not have been more stunning with the big day held at Preston Manor & Chapel in the mountains of South Toowoomba, followed by a reception at Muller Bro’s restaurant. They also chose to incorporate speeches, cake cutting and a first dance to add some traditional sentiments before departing through an aisle of sparklers held by friends and family.

Jade’s search for her wedding gown took her to many stores in many cities, she didn’t have an idea of what style she wanted or what style would best suit their contemporary wedding theme. Before finding ‘the dress’ she had tried on over 15 dresses in every style and colour but never felt that she had found the one until she came into the When Freddie Met Lilly studio. Jade came into the studio with one of her bridesmaids, Kim and picked 5-6 dresses to try on. The second she put her dress on she had the moment all brides to be dream of and knew that she had found the one, “I couldn’t stop smiling! It was so perfect!”

Jade chose the Esther Gown, a beautiful fit and flare silhouette made from soft lace and hand-sewn Swarovski crystals. She also chose to have her dress made without the skirt split and match it with the Esther Veil for a stunningly timeless look. After asking Jade about her experience at the WFML studio she wrote that; “Vanessa was such an amazing help with finding the dress. She gave me so many options and honest opinions. She helped me find the right dress to shape my body perfectly and also gave me the creative freedom to customise it to my liking. Honestly it was the best experience there.”

Tim had a much quicker search for his suit as he already had a style in mind. The couple walked into Ferrari Formalwear and headed straight towards the suit that he wanted, a navy blue tuxedo that had the perfect mix of contemporary and traditional styling.

Jade’s advice for brides searching for their dream dress is to keep trying on as many dresses until you’ve found the one that makes you feel like a princess, and don’t settle for anything less.

Congratulations Jade & Tim!
