WFML REAL BRIDE: Madeline

Madeline and Rob couldn’t wait to be married, they had a beautiful wedding at Victoria Park Golf Complex in Brisbane City. The couple looked gorgeous and had a perfect day! It was perfect timing as Queensland had just eased restrictions after a snap lockdown which meant almost all of their family and friends were able to attend.

“We had the best, most wonderful day ever. It was truly the best day of our lives.”

Madeline and Rob were dating for eight years and engaged for another year so they were so excited to tie the knot! Madeline felt confident and beautiful in her When Freddie Met Lilly bespoke gown. It met all her requirements which was a white dress that made her feminine, beautiful, comfortable, had sleeves, and from a boutique she has a positive connection with the stylists and designer.

“I felt Confident and beautiful. I loved everything about that dress. It was perfect and I was so happy wearing it.”

Madeline did a lot of research on Instagram and at bridal expos to find her dream dress, which is where she found When Freddie Met Lilly. Madeline’s first time trying on wedding gowns was at When Freddie Met Lilly with her bridesmaids, Vanessa made the experience wonderful, fun and so positive! She was open to suggestions from Vanessa and tried on five to ten dresses to try different designs. When Madeline put on the third dress she loved it instantly and could not stop comparing all the other dresses to it.

Vanessa was able to incorporate additional custom designs into the dress, “she said yes to every crazy idea I had and it made me love the dress even more! One of my favourite parts of the dress is the puffed up angel wing sleeves, this was developed from a combination of different dress designs.” Rob’s suit complimented Madeline’s dress beautifully and Rob said he felt very sophisticated and handsome wearing it.

Madeline’s advice to future brides is

“Find the dress you like, from a staff member who cares. It makes a big difference. Also, add custom details to your dress! This makes it more personalised and therefore one of a kind! When Freddie Met Lilly is great at all of those things!”

Madeline loved everything about her appointments at When Freddie Met Lilly as Vanessa was so caring and positive and was able to customise every design feature she asked for and gave great suggestions. Madeline absolutely adored her dress. “I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Vanessa from When Freddie Met Lilly. My dress was everything I had hoped it could be, and I got so many lovely compliments throughout our whole wedding day.” Since the wedding, Madeline had her gown archived. She looks forward to showing it to her future children one day as it holds so many precious memories.
