Caleb and Bree actually met through Caleb's best friend, Will, all the way back in 2017, Bree was dating Will at the time, and tagged along to one of Caleb's Scout performances, which is where the two first crossed paths. They hit it off as friends, and even after Will and Bree broke up, Caleb and Bree stayed in touch. Slowly but surely, they grew closer, until one day "just friends" turned into something more, and eventually the two started dating. They kept things under wraps for a while, until Caleb worked up the courage to talk to Will about it himself – now the three of them are all close friends, in fact, Will is one of their groomsmen.
In December of 2023, on a trip to Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, NSW the couple got engaged. On the night of the proposal, Caleb and Bree had just finished a night tour of the zoo and headed back to the safari lodge where they were staying. As soon as they arrived back at their cabin, Bree dashed off to get ready for a bath — but Caleb stopped her in her tracks and got down on one knee. Through happy tears, Bree said yes!
To Caleb and Bree, marriage is a commitment to protect and promise to endlessly love the person you’ve chosen to spend the rest of your life with. It is the forming of a base that you and your partner will build the rest of your life on together.
When on the search for her Dream Gown, Bree was looking for something that she truly felt beautiful and comfortable in, something that she felt like herself in. During Bree’s appointments at When Freddie Met Lilly, she tried on a variety of slip dresses so she could really grasp the full picture of what she would look like on her wedding day. Now, Bree's dress and veil are lovingly preserved in a box, ready to be treasured for years to come.
For Caleb, his only requirement when looking for his perfect suit was to incorporate the colour burgundy into his outfit and to have a vest. The couple decided Caleb would have a stunning floral tie to match his groomsmen, paired with a pocket square. From the moment Caleb and Bree walked into When Freddie Met Lilly, they felt relaxed and supported by the staff who helped bring each of their visions for their wedding to life.
There were so many beautiful moments on the wedding day, one of the standouts would have to be Caleb and Bree’s first look. The couple saw each other dressed up for the first time, and a private moment together sharing handwritten letter with each other before walking down the aisle. While Caleb didn't shed a tear, he was left completely speechless at the sight of Bree — finally managing to get out just one word: "damn."
Framed against the stunning grounds of Gabbinbar Homestead in Toowoomba, the deep burgundy of Caleb's suit and the striking silhouette of Bree's dress made for a truly breathtaking scene. The perfect addition to this was Bree’s simple yet stunning bouquet filled with Native Florals.
Adding a personal touch to the Bree and her sister cross-stitched by hand every guest’s place card, which acted as both their favour, and also a tribute to their Nan, who had sadly passed before she could see Caleb and Bree’s Wedding.

At the end of the day, you can’t make everyone happy, so focus on what is important to you and your partner. Make it a memorable day for you and what reflects you as a couple. Don’t worry about what others have to say, do what makes you happiest!
