WFML Real Bride: Joanna

WFML Real Bride: Joanna

Posted by Vanessa Hoe on

"I got so many compliments on my dress, not just on the day but also from people looking at my photos after. Even my make-up artist, who has done hundreds of weddings, was blown away!".

Gorgeous Joanna got married to her forever husband at a very traditional wedding in Victoria. In fitting with the theme, she knew she wanted her gown to be a little more intricate and with sleeves! Being a Melbournite, Joanna made a spur of the moment decision to pop into WFML during a family visit to Brisbane and isn't she glad she did; "Once I'd come to WFML I knew that I was done shopping around. Vanessa was great because she showed me a lot of different styles of both fabric and fit, so we could figure out exactly what parts of each design I liked, and then she was flexible to let me put them all together into one dress." Joanna and Vanessa spent a lot of time working on the fit of the gown to ensure it was comfortable and easy to walk in. They ended up popping a stretchy fabric as an inner layer and voila - it was perfect! Joanna's lovely husband spend lots of time leading up to the wedding joking about choosing a ridiculous suit to wear. However, on the day he arrived in a very traditional tux (that then doubled as a dressy work suit - winning!). Thanks for letting us play a little part in your big day, Joanna! We're so glad you felt "absolutely beautiful" in your gown - and goodness you looked it too!
