Being someone that was not after a "big" wedding, Jessica and her lovely husband agreed on a small wedding at a friend's property. As the day approached, torrential rain was predicted, however, by some miracle it stopped for just enough time for the couple to be wed.
The couple had a great idea to take a less traditional route for their wedding and it sounded simply beautiful. They had a "first glance" before taking pictures together prior to the ceremony, all the children (and fur children!) sat on a mat at the front of the ceremony and there were no speeches or bridal parties to give it a large family gathering feel. At first, Jessica was unsure as to what style dress she was wanting and after a big day of prancing from dress shop to dress shop, she was beyond over trying on so many styles! However, that mindset totally changed when she met our designer, Vanessa: "By the time I got to WFML I was over it. I didn't want to try on any more dresses. Then I met Vanessa. She was beyond helpful and patient. She spent so long with me, trying on so many dresses and explaining how each dress could be personalised. She understood that I wanted something different and not so traditional."
Jessica said that her dress made her feel like herself on the special day - what more could you ask for! "This dress made me feel confident and relaxed. Vanessa had spent so much time helping me choose, altering and making the dress perfect that I didn't question it for a second. I knew Bodan and everyone else would love it." And finally, Jessica's top tip for future brides choosing their gown? Find a dress that makes you feel comfortable, confident and you LOVE! She believes that an external opinion from a professional is all you need to choose the perfect dress!
