Tessa’s advice to future brides is simple: Be open to designing your own gown, embrace non-traditional wedding elements, and make your celebration a reflection of your unique love story. “We didn’t have a cake; we had a complete chocolate smash cake filled with his and her lollies that were served with our favourite ice cream for dessert. We didn’t do a bouquet or garter toss. We opted to have the first verse and chorus as our first dance we then had our family join for the next verse and finally we had our guests join us for the last chorus and verse”.
